A fantastic day was had by all the participants who came to the 13th annual One Family UK /Care for Kids It’s a Knockout day on June 26th at Queens School in Bushey.
Nearly 1000 children in different teams, aged from 7yrs to 14yrs ran, jumped, skipped over various large inflatables in the sunshine throughout the day. Prizes were handed out at the end of morning and afternoon sessions to the winning teams.
Over £75,000 was raised by the children through sponsorship.
One Family UK wishes to thank all our sponsors, volunteers and the Care for Kids committee, without whom the day could not have been so successful.
Sally Ann Thwaites, chair for the committee said it was the 13th year of It’s a Knockout and we are going from strength to strength, this was the most successful It’s a Knockout and thanked Andrew Alexander, all the team captains, volunteers and fabulous kids for attending and taking part so enthusiastically, enabling us to raise funds for children’s holiday camps for victims of terror in Israel.
Thank you to everyone who took part and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
